Sidney Holmes is an accomplished producer with a wealth of experience in the journalism, unscripted television, and film industries.

Her professional journey commenced in 2018 as a Fred Young Hearst Television Producing Fellow, which paved the way for her subsequent role as a news producer at WDSU-TV. Over the course of two years, Sidney successfully produced the noon and weekend newscasts. Notably, she played an instrumental role in the launch of the noon newscast in September 2018, contributing to the development of its distinctive style. Transitioning into the realm of unscripted/reality television, she served as an associate producer for the captivating dating competition show My Amazing Cheap Date: New Orleans and the critically acclaimed Animal Planet series Pit Bulls and Parolees. More recently, Sidney has expanded her expertise by working alongside seasoned executives in scripted television and film.

Sidney holds an impressive educational background, having earned two degrees from Loyola University New Orleans: an M.S. in Marketing and Communication and a B.A. in Mass Communication. During her final year of undergraduate studies, she assumed the esteemed role of editor-in-chief of The Maroon, a highly regarded college newspaper recognized for its excellence nationwide.
